One day they'll Hate this!!!

Just some fun shots of Seth and Simon being funny in the bathtub.

Too cute to resist!

A Night at the Fields

Every Monday and Wednesday night we head out to they YMCA fields for Sean and Seth's soccer games.

This past Monday they each had a game, as Sean's team had a make-up game from a previous rainout.

It is so fun to watch them play. Sean has really started to understand the game this year and it's amazing to me his ability to anticipate what is going to happen.

He has scored a goal in almost all of the games which is exciting, but for me the best part is seeing his confidence and knowledge of the sport.

Seth, on the other hand, is just learning. Try to imagine 5 three year olds chasing after one soccer ball. It is cute and absolutely frustrating to watch. They do not get the concept of spreading out and passing the ball.

Kelly coaches both of their teams and I am on the sidelines trying to take pictures and keep Simon from running onto the field!!!!!

what more could anyone ask for?

Tioga Carnival

w

Saturday (before everyone got so sick) we went to a neighborhood family carnival to benefit the building of a new Children's Hospital in Gainesville.

We had fun, the boys ate hot dogs and wanted to get their faces painted.

This is the result:

Dirty Baby

The other night it was actually cool enough out that we went outside and played after dinner. I think it was a brisk 89 degrees. I sent the boys out with some Italian Ice and just let them go crazy. Sean ate his completely all gone, Seth had a few bites, and Simon, well, you can see for yourself.....
I LOVE IT!!!!

"Cookie Tossin' "

It started Thursday night. Simon woke up after having gotten sick in his crib. He has continued to be unpredictably sick since then.
Then last night after we came home from a "family carnival", Seth proved he has the same thing. It has been a very quiet, laying-low kind of day.
I hate when my babies are sick, but i have to say the snuggles are so worth it. Dishes and laundry can wait, I'll take the hugs!!!!

the countdown

I don' t have a picture for this one, but I just have to share a funny moment from tonight.
I had Seth and Simon in the tub being outside playing this evening. It was getting late so I told them that we needed to get out of the tub and get ready for bed. No one responded. I said it again. Still no acknowledgment of me whatsoever. Then I raised my voice a bit and said, "Boys, I am going to count to three and I want you to get up and let's get out of the tub." "ONE,.......
and lo and behold, Simon who is barely piecing together words here and there busts out with...."TOOOH, FEEEEE"
I nearly wet my pants.
Oh, the joys of parenting.

Sea World

We spent Labor Day in Orlando with Mimi and Papa.

We took the boys to see Shamu at Sea World, needless to say, they absolutely loved it.

I can't exactly say what the best part was for the boys, you can see the pictures of them feeding the dolphins, which they thought was pretty cool.

They got to pet the rays, but complained that they were too slimy.

Boys can be funny that way!
